Are Mechanics Finding Job Faster Than The Graduates

Mechanics or Installer job of Air Conditioning, or Refrigeration generally require a degree of high school only. This job can be physically strenuous. This may involve activities such as climbing, bending, stooping, and standing for prolonged periods of time. But this career can be much better than finding a job for a graduate. These mechanics get a job much faster than the graduate engineers.

Worthless Degrees And Jobless Graduates 

After spending almost ₹4 lakh on the B.Tech course students are sitting jobless. After finishing the course the college gives no  guarantee of placements. Engineers are preparing for the bank probationary officers’ exam.  In India qualified engineer is working in a non-technical field.

Colleges don’t even provide proper internship in any corporate, making the candidates absolutely incompetent.

Reduced Per Capita Income 

The greatly reduced in per capita terms is because of rapidly growing population. In the face of a rapidly growing population, the major concern of a developing country is unequal distribution of income.

Indian workers are failing to find a decent job in the first place. A big part of the challenge stems from automation. According to McKinsey, a consulting firm, machines could eliminate some 52% of India’s manufacturing jobs. In present scenario technology  adoption is a compulsion. For the first time in nearly a decade, India’s high-flying IT industry this year laid off thousands of workers. Economic Times, an Indian daily, found 62% agreeing that their job prospects were shrinking.

India’s labour force will soon overtake China to be the world’s largest. But the country is struggling to generate opportunities for a workforce with the wrong skills. Slowing economic growth, a decline in investment rates, the shock of economic reforms, a long-term decline in agricultural employment and a faulty education system have combined to reduce the proportion of Indians who hold proper jobs.

In the present context the government should focus more on vocational training,  such as technician mechanics etc to handle the unemployment and highly expensive  graduation courses.

Air Conditioning Mechanic Tasks

  • Diagnose, repair and perform maintenance on automobiles.
  • Maintain inventory of tools and parts.
  • Communicate with customer service, parts and sales departments.
  • Diagnose malfunctions using electronic testing equipment.

An AC mechanic helps to maintain and repair air conditioning systems in residential and business environments. The AC mechanic may work full-time, part-time, on call, or freelance. The mechanic should have strong knowledge of optimizing an air conditioning system.

The AC mechanic may also help to optimize air flow by manipulating air ducts. The AC mechanic may also be present in the installation of new air conditioning systems. It is essential to be familiar with all the components of the AC system and know how the AC system works. Occasionally some welding and electrical work may be required.
